While many studies indicate the potential link between periodontal disease and other systematic disease, to most people on this planet it remains to be a distant star, thus many people with chronic untreated periodontal disease may develop and, or has an effect on other systematic diseases, like endocarditis, stroke, and other disease as consequences. With my background in dental hygiene, I will try my best to provide quality information on such topic.

Periodontal disease vs heart disease and stroke
This excellent video explains how gum disease can some times be dangerous,
but unnoticed by many patients and even physicians. I call it "the silent killer".
